Azn So, here's the deal. I remowed my harddrive to use it in my frinds pc. and when i put it back in my pc, i get a blue screen 0x000007E. But if i boot it in safe mode, i won't get that error (and know i know it is either a hardware or a driver). But since i had had my HDD in an other pc i need to activate windows again to be able to use it. And that is not possible in safe mode therefore i can't log in :( I also know that it is not a hardware since i have a windows xp professional as dualboot.

I have a nVidia gEforce 7950Gx2
AMD athlon 64 x2 5000+
2gb ram
the os that is F**ked up is ''Windows xp Home Edition''

I also think that it might be the geforce drivers that is messed up, but that's my theory. Any Ideas?

Disclaimer: I do not applaud piracy, but I do feel people should have access to their personal files, regardless of whether Windows has expired or not. This tutorial should not be used to bypass Windows Activation, nor does it restore full Windows functionality, but I provide it to those who are in desperate need of accessing files that are suddenly lost to them through the Microsoft Genuine Advantage activation system.

that's my problem :( I have to boot in Normal mode to be able to do the first one but i can't since i get a blue screen(Sometime it even turns green o.O) And to be able to do what the second link says, i have to be abe to enter an account (like administrator), but i can't do that since it says that i can't activate windows in safe mode:(
I believe it is my graphics driver that is the cause of the bluescreen, is there a possible way to remove or replace the driver while dualbooting windowsxp pro??

Please try the following link to Jim Eshelman's web page - left hand column
(7E)

http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

The other ways are:

1) Repair Install

2) Rollback Using ERD Commander

3) Preinstalled Enviroment and remove the offending drivers

i used the ERD and got rid of the Stop error, but now when i try to activate windows the  activation wizard pops up but without any text or images, only two little squares in each upper corner :s

Just noticed your disclaimer, and no i'm not using a pirated copy of windows, i have a key pasted at my pc case :p

Did you use ERD to do a rollback?

Yes, and i used the latest rollback which removed the stop error and sadly it allso removed my dualboot option. I can't access my windows xp professional now, but that doesn't matter.

Summary...
Used ERD commander to rollback to two days earier, This removed the stop error.

The rollback removed my dualboot too.

Only problem now is what i wrote in my last post. The activation screen/wizard doesn't have any text or fields where to put my xp key. just two little squares in each upper corner.

mulle95 I have always followed what I told you to do and had not trouble with activation.
So you might be going wrong somewhere, not sure what else you can try.
