i am trying to get a mini xp laptop connecting wireless but it look like the user has removed the 3rd party connection software and the tab to give you the option to enable Microsoft wireless management is not there.

is there any way of reinstalling this tab or a simple fix.  Embarrassed

Wireless Zero Configuration
Click the Start button
Select Run
Type services.msc



The Services window is opened.



Locate Wireless Zero Configuration in the list of services
Double-click Wireless Zero Configuration service to make changes
Change the Startup Type to Automatic
Click the Start button to start the service
Click OK to close the service properties window
Close the Services window



Configure Wireless Network Settings
Click the Start button
Select Control Panel
Find and select Network Connections
From the list of network connections, right-click on the wireless network connection and choose Properties
Select the Wireless Networks tab
Checkthe box to Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings
Click the Add button under Preferred Networks



Enter the network name SSID: "Yours"
Check the box to Connect even if this network is not broadcasting
Select Network Authentication: WPA2
Select Data encryption: AES
