Dear Britech/All,

My Freecom external hard drive is not being registered. I think it may be corrupt drivers to the mass storage devices.
Can you help?

Try look in Control Panel > Admistrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

is it listed? what about device manager is it listed as not recognized?

A common thing with Freecom is the electronics that power the drive, they tend cook themselves if used all the time, but the hard disk itself is usually ok, if this is the case you can buy a exturnal caddy case.

Check all cables & power adapters to make sure there ok.
