Hello,

First,  I wish to thank you for your time and effort to release this USB bootable version of WinXP.

I have downloaded and installed the software.  The USB boots.  Everything appears to work in English until I start to type.  It is in Cyrillic(Russian) as best I can determine.  I tried everything I knew.  It did not take much time, I know so little.

Is the solution to install the LiveCD?  I checked your files, but I cannot find anything that configures for Cyrillic.

Thank again,

Lawrence

Hi,

I answered my own question.  I downloaded the 7zipped ISOs.  I then un-7zipped the two files and joined them at the hip.  I copied all of the files in the joined ISO to the USB.  It boots.  It is in English.  When I use the notepad the keyboard is in English.

I do have two questions:

I cannot seem to save my work.

I am having a problem with Network.  No Internet.  Reading from others in the Forum it appears the LAN Drivers are absent.  Hence, my earlier question to save my work.  Must I add the driver to the .img?  Is there any way to save work, data, entries, etc?

Thank you again for your efforts,

Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,

Welcome to the forum.

I would make your own windows live cd its alot easyer than messing around with someone elses.
you can then customise the live cd to suit your own needs.

Hello,

I am glad to be in this forum.

In your original software, where do I change the keyboard from Cyrillic to English?

Is it possible to save work, information, documents, etc on the USB?

Thanks again,

Lawrence

Hi

I  live in the south of Western Australia and this is my first post

In the video you say that there are links to your smple files in folders a, b and c, I would appreciate access to them

Booting and running XP/Vista?Win 7 from USBs is seems to be a very hot topic

Wow!  You have a serious knack for making things clear!  I was almost able to assemble all the files from folders a b and c from your video alone but alas, snagged by the .img file.  I would be most grateful if you could send me those links, that could be super useful for me.  USB operating environment would be amazing for me because I'm a musician that uses XP and software on stage for sound emulation and internal harddrives can't take road life!  Smiley  Thanks again in advance, great videos, a fine forum too!
