Hi there Vancouver911

first in your bios boot menu dose it give the option to boot from usb mass storage devices ?

Secondly are you able to get a cd drive for your desktop and have it fitted

and also what make is the computer model ect did it come with a cdrom orignaly it only needs to read the cd

if the computer is shot and you need to reinstall your os and you have a cd would you be able to copy the information on another computer such as a friend nabough a relertive computer just to copy the files across wintoflash is brillant if you are able to do this kind regards

When you say you have downloaded a full copy of windows xp SPK2 do you mean it is a brought copy or a torrant
if it is a oem genuinue copy then that would be good if not :(

I would strongly recommend against using torrents not only do they carry viruses that infect the hard drive but you can get in to trouble for it do you have a rescue cd for it normally

BJseal91 i do not know your most user friendly way of doing this but i would recommend
novicorp wintoflash
http://wintoflash.com/home/en/
its very strait forward
BACK UP ALL DATA befoure doing this becuse it will format your usb drive?
also with your ISO you must extract it or mount it.

I agree with you on wintoflash is excellent and I saved a copy and use it myself I is one of the newer video tutorials
but in regards to the question on how to get it on to the flash drive it needs a Cd which was stated the computer dose not have
if it did have a Cd then you could right the files across as you say using wintoflash there is no disk and only a torrent of it which I still stick to what I said before that you can get into trouble using torrents.

Kind Regards
