Just make the USB bootable  and then put the file onto the USB and it will boot.

Ok, i made it bootable with grub4dos, but For the life of me I cant figure out the command line to put in the menu file. I have 3 Boot commands as of now: That boot CD, mini windows and WIndows Xp (i made).
But when I use the windows xp, it gives me error because it is typed incorrectly.
Please tell me what It would Look like, If my USB is a K: Drive and the file is called windowsxplivecd.iso

Just take the files out of the iso and drop them onto a bootable USB

Also, just a quick question if you dont mind (its currently un-packing the iso).
Is it going to be possible to install more programs after I get it to launch? For example a video converter or a game.

Edit: Moved files from an ISO image to root of the USB. It gives me the option of what to boot (as before), and selecting other 2 options does not work.

It has: Boot from Hard Drive
Boot Hirens boot CD
Boot Mini WIndows XP

Edit2: What I did is take files from the ISO and shove them into root folder... but I have no idea what to dao, of if I even understood you correctly. I am a complete noob at this, so please tell me what to do.

SO far I have:

Grub installed on the USB.
Can get the menu file to work, and can ascess the command line
'Have the ISO that I pathched together like you said in the Bootable CD guide.
Have no Idea how to Boot the ISO.

MakeBootable is a freeware application that turns your USB pen drives into a bootable media with just a single click.  This nifty utility makes your pen drive to be bootable without erasing any data in the USB device.

Download this file .
http://pendrive.com.my/downloads/software/Make_bootable.zip

MakeBootable consists of a single executable file and requires no installation. To use MakeBootable, run the MakeBootable executable file. On the main window, select the USB device you wish to make bootable. Click on the “Make Bootable” button to begin the process. The program will load several files required for boot up into your device.

Next, you need to change the boot-up setting in the system BIOS. With your USB device still plugged, restart your system. Enter the BIOS setup menu and change the boot device setting. Select USB Device as First Boot device in the boot device priority. If the boot-up files are created in the USB drive, select USB-HDD or USB-ZIP (preferred). If the boot-up files are created in the floppy drive of your device, select USB-FDD (for pen drive that supports security mode).

Once done, save and exit the BIOS setup. Now, you should be able to boot up with your USB device.

MakeBootable run perfectly on Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.

Note: Before running MakeBootable, if your USB pen drive is under FAT32 and NTFS file system format, you need to convert the format to FAT. MakeBootable does not support FAT32 and NTFS file systems.

After just drag all the files in the ISO to the USB... Job done.

Note: Before running MakeBootable, if your USB pen drive is under FAT32 and NTFS file system format, you need to convert the format to FAT. MakeBootable does not support FAT32 and NTFS file systems.

Any recommended formatters to turn FAT32 to FAT?

Edit: cant find a way to format USB to FAT due to my computer not giving the option in format selection.

Best I could Get is exFAT.

Getting error: Make bootable device failed. Device not found
