i started my computer( Emahcines  EL 1200-06w model) and i got the message weather to start in safe mode<safe mode with networking<safe mode with command prompt< start windows from last known good config.<and start windows normally. I've seen the message before on my old computer but i simply clicked start normally and it wen ton fine. But it seems that this time its not the case it tried every option and nothing  well i hunted and search finally found the back-up disc i made for it long ago and i went to the boot menu (F10) and select'd boot from cd-rom and it boot'd the disc and it went thru the recovery setup and told me to restart like normal after it was finished. then as it goes to boot and went thru the windows load bar and went to the blue screen of the  Windows Xp home setup screen for u to set your settings it said "Autochk program failed-skipping autochk please wait...." then rebooted and i tried it again and it cont. in a never ending loop of reboot after that point. i got the screen up where i had all the options from before and clicked "start windows from last known good config."  and it said that it could not because  a missing or  currupted file : /Windows/system32/config/system: and to click 'r' to repair it, when i click "r" it reboots..... i need help to fix this please, any and all help would be greatly aprricated. Smiley hope i posted this right because im not so good with fourms...... :o
