Change Default Download Location In Microsoft Edge In Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser default download location is C:\Users\UserName\Downloads by default. There are not settings in the browser that will let you change this location, but all is not lost, there is a way to fix this issue by using a registry tweak and he it is.

Go to this location

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage
\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge\Main

Create a new string and call it.
Default Download Directory.
