Some prep work you will want to carry out before upgrading to Windows 10
. Make sure you version of windows is fully updated
. Make sure you have reserved you’re Windows 10
. Make sure you use the Windows 10 Upgrade process and make sure Windows 10 is activated before attepmting a fresh install or you won’t be able to activate Windows 10 with your older version of windows key.
. Make sure you backup all your data in case something goes wrong with the upgrade.
. Make sure you take a backup image or clone of your old windows install in case something goes wrong, Microsoft do offer a rollback feature, but this could go wrong.
