Reset a Windows 8 Password for FREE
If you’ve forgotten your Windows password and don’t have a password reset or recovery, CD, don’t worry. Because I will show you a free and simple way of removing a lost password.
So in this video I will show you how to reset forgotten Windows 8 password or any other Windows password with System Rescue CD. We will use this free software to clear our windows 8 password.
1) Type: fdisk -l
2) Type: ntfs-3g /dev/sda2 /mnt/windows –o force (replace /dev/sda2 with your partition)
3) Type: cd /mnt/windows/Windows/System32/config
4) chntpw –l SAM
5) chntpw –u “Britec” SAM (change user to your username)
6) All done

Every time I put “ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /mnt/windows –o force ” I get “mount is denied because the NTFS volume is already exclusively opened.the value may be already mounted or another software may use it which could be identified for example by the help of the ‘fuser’ command ” I don’t know what to do from here
