What Generation is My CPU Processor

With so many CPU’s being made nowadays, it sometimes can be daunting to know what generation of CPU processor you have. If you looking to buy and new or second hand computer or laptop, you might want to know what CPU is in that machine, there is so many CPU’s on the market nowadays i3, i5, i7, FX, APU, Sempron, athlon, A4, A5, A6, A8, A10 and it can be very confusing to some users or buyers. I will show you how to find what generation Intel Processor or AMD processor you have or what you want to buy. Here how to find your Intel Processor generation.

For Windows 7 Click Start button and Right-click My Computer and select Properties, now you will see a windows called “view basic information about your computer” its a basic summary of the hardware and operating system. The information what we are interested in is which processor you’re running.
