Failed extract of third-party root list from auto update cab - smirk24 - 09-19-2018

In my event viewer the error "Failed extract of third-party root list from auto update cab" shows up over 50 times. it shows the download link but when the file is downloaded its a zip file with a certificate and i havent had to deal with anything of that sort but i was hoping you guys can help me fix it.

is your windows 10 updated with all windows update?

compton, he is using Windows Vista on HP DX7300 Slim Tower

ok will given its Windows Vista being outdated
