computer sleep using SSD vs powering down a SATA HDD - imoz2 - 05-28-2020 I have updated my Computer to a SSD Drive. The computer goes to sleep then will not wake up. I have been told that I should not put a SSD to sleep as it could create a problem in startup when I wake the machine after a time say an hour. So can i power off a HDD that is used as a backup insde the machine?
