Windows 9 Start Menu - jmitservices - 09-12-2014

I've just seen this. Looks like a big improvement over the Window 8/8.1 start menu. Still don't know why they just don't bring back the old one with the new styling...

RE: Windows 9 Start Menu - ray - 09-12-2014

I know a few people who have stayed away from windows 8 because of the start menu i know you can put program like classic shell etc on, but like you say I think Microsoft have realized that now and are going back a tad to the old menu.
Thanks

This looks like a bit of Windows 8 and 9 put together

Microsoft have developed a wonderful talent for putting people off their Operating Systems...we saw this with windows 8...8.1 and looks like windows 9 will have the same effect...maybe call windows 9...windows 8 and a half.

I like Windows 8, apart from the Metro Interface

RE: Windows 9 Start Menu - WaWa - 09-24-2014

Hello,
I am working with 8.1 and downloaded » StartIsBack «. This is the best 7-like startmenu.  I am very pleased with this solution!

I added two pictures that I found on the net with the win9 start menu, that can be placed horizontally or vertically.
Double click on the thumbnails to see them in full detail.

Best regards,

Walter

I don't think I'm going to like it, but at least it looks like you can disable it.

Here's another video on Multiple Desktops ...

I don't know, I'm willing to give Windows 9 a try and see how well it works. My concern is will it be worth it to replace my Windows 7?
