Make Your Graphics Card Recognized in Sims 3
#1
I was wondering if anyone knows how to make EA recognize your graphics card and how to set up your Radeon Catalyst for Sims 3,
I have looked on Youtube for help but can't find any, I was hoping Britec could do a video as they are so easy to follow. Thank you

What operating system you running? if Windows 8 / 8.1 or 10 run the Sims 3 game in compatibility mode.

Right-click Sims 3 Icon and choose Properties.
Click the "Compatibility" tab.
"Tick" the box for "Run this program in Compatibility Mode for:" then choose "Windows 7". Apply it.
Now try and start the Sims 3 game again.

Hi Lyn

First off.

  1. Can you attach the files so I can edit them for you?
  2. Files to attach a) DeviceConfig, b) GraphicsCards, c) GraphicsRules
  3. If this is not possible, might be able to remote in a try sort it for you.

I have the SGR Files in my documents and tried to add all 3 By the choose file at the bottom of this page but it isn't doing it, I hope I am not doing it wrong.
