I have done Dual Boot with wind 8.1 and 7 on 500 HD. Durring this dual boot i removed 2TB HDD.
Problem occurs when i add back 2TB HDD Drive.
Windows 8.1 fail to boot again... But when i remove 2TB HDD Drive it works.
How can i force wind 8.1 to see the 2TB HDD Drive like windows 7...? without formating...

hi moemedimrtn have you checked in your bios that's its set to boot from the disk you want and if you enter the bios does it show both disks, also when you put in the 2tb the bios maybe not recognizing your win 8.1 system as the first boot option by default, some older bios wont recognize large drives, when you setup did you put windows 8.1 on one drive and windows 7 on the other, or did you just partition one drive and put them both on there ie the one you cant boot from at the moment, maybe members can shine more light on you problem if you can tell us what bios you have on your PC one last thing when it fails to boot what error message are you getting if it shows one at all

You can try
https://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/
This will let you rebuild your dual boot and repair it.

not try to take you off course but the 2tb did it come from another PC, I took one out of a old DVD HD (500GB) recorder a time ago and it was not recognized till i reformatted, if you don't have any important data on it try that, or disconnect your win 8 /7 drive and try install a linux or another windows system on the 2TB one just to see if its working bit of elimination thing you have no need to go set all the software just get to the desktop, then put in your win 8/7 drive back in and boot to windows 8 and look if its recognized your 2TB drive go into computer in windows 8 / 7 if you see the 2TB drive is showing then you can reformat it, are you just using it for a backup the 2TB, if so you can buy a external hard-drive caddy and put it in there, i not the best at explaining but just trying to help if mods think this will not help please remove no problem good luck
