In this tutorial i will show you how to fix core.cab is corrupt during installation of VMware Workstation.
ATTENTION : Make sure you made a registry backup before messing with registry because smallest mistake can cause problems!
1)Open regedit by pressing Win key + R and entering regedit in window.
2)To make backup do like this in picture below :

Navigate to this registry hive and find VMware entry and delete it : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services .
Main reason why you encounter this error because services are being left during uninstallation.
Note: You need to run installer as Administrator.
