  • base on what you are doing a secure format  would be unnecessary
  • when you reinstall  windows on the hard drive all of the old data you has on it
  • would be rewrite eventually

  • but it's up to you on what you will do
  • the problem with a secure format it will put too much stress on the hard drive
  • and could damage it

After using dban youll just have to use the operating system/os install disk (not a recovery disk that will not work) and follow the instructions the disk pops with, when you get to the part where it shows the hard drive or hard drives just click the hard drive your installing windows on then click next and thats all
