Two main points to stop are skydrive and McAfee.

You can actually stop all except AVG if you wish.

I would still like a list of non windows services running as this is I think the main cause.

ive searched for the Mcafee, but in my programs, where you would normally uninstall its not there, looks like its hidden. Ive found what could be the file but when i delete it is does not allow me too.

I did some digging in my computer files, and it seems there's alot of crap files, im guessing viruses, or infections that do not get picked up by the scan's ive used. Ive been manually deleting them.

ok I would disable all dose startup items all you need starting up is your antivirus program

also I would disable mcafee security scan service and mcafee firewall

Ok will try this,

Regarding the mcafee, I've searched for the program in control panel---- add remove programs and it's not there.

So I was going through my C drive and came across what looks like a hidden file that had Mcaffee in it, I deleted the items I could but the main Mcafee it doesn't let me as somthing comes up say so thing about administrator???

Not sure what to do about this?

You could disable most of those services if you don't use them.

For McAfee removal MCPR
