Not sure if this should be under Windows 7 or Software?

The software concerned is Paperport 14. I previously had Paperport 9 installed. I think that this may be the problem. But which one of the conflicting files should I delete if any? This is the 'side by side' error report on Event Viewer:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\PaperPort\CheckPPFolders.exe". Error in manifest or policy file "" on line.

A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active. Conflicting components are:

Component 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.7601.18837_none_41e855142bd5705d.manifest.

Component 2: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\amd64_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.7601.18837_none_fa3b1e3d17594757.manifest.

Hi Ron, Have you tried there paperport support page?

They are going to know more about there software then anyone else.

Yes, I checked and found the exact same question going unanswered and somebody bumping it asking if anyone found a solution, or something like that. I have searched the internet.
