i cheek it before it was good i just need to know if fixing it from an 2nd hard drive using the windows 7 dvd on the 2nd hard drive to do a Repair Install on the 1st hard drive will work

Have you just plugged it into another SATA port?

just using windows explorer and the 2 hard drives are hooked into the same motherboard

btw can i fix the unbootable windows by using the 2nd hard drive to run nomol mode and then to use the windows 7 disk to do a repair install on the 1st hard drive sorry for the spelling
