group policy editor

Brian can the group policy editor be installed to the home edition, if it can would you show me / us how to do it.... thanks....

if you are on windows 10 home

you will have to upgrade to windows 10 professional


if you are on  windows 8.1 home

you will have  to upgrade to windows 8.1 professional    




if you are on windows home 7

u will have to upgrade to

windows 7 professional
or

windows 7 Ultimate


you just can,t install group policy editor on home edition
Microsoft don,t want  home user's playing around with the group policy editor Smile

thanks for trying to help me guys, I followed the link to windows club, and yes I can download the GP'msc app, but I can not get installed, on my windows 10 home laptop... have asked Brtec to make a videok
hope he has the time...

Group Policy Editor was compiled by "davehc" on the Windows 7 forums. He says in the forum "There is no copyright on it so feel free to use and distribute!" Thanks and all credit to "davehc"

I am not even sure it will work with Windows 10. It works with Windows 7 and other operating systems before that.

Here is the site with information on adding GPEDIT

Download Group Policy Editor at top right of page

Remember to backup computer and create a restore point before installing.
