I don't have remote connection set up on this machine.
What device is giving the issue exactly? (you have many attached, Mic., Speakers, etc)

Getting low sound on headphones and 5.1 speakers. been dicking with it for 2 weeks now, no support on peppermint forum. Its things like this that turn people of of Linux, this is all new hardware, maybe it don't like the new hardware setup, I see people use Linux with old p4 and core duo.
