Hey guys,
I use computers for absurd amount of hours and stare at the screen..
MY eyes are not exactly feeling well and I need to know what options or things I should do or can buy to help.
Are there things like setting refresh rates to help my eyes? what Can I change or do to help my eyes from hurting so much..
by the way, I currently use a 32inch TV as my screen..
thanks

Using a 32" monitor at what distance? It needs to be at least 2.5m for that size monitor or you're asking for trouble

- 32" TV at close range is what is causing the issue.
- When you use the computer you are concentrating and some stare at the screen for long periods without blinking, this drys the eye out and makes them sore.

these are all pretty awesome answers..
I honestly do sit close to the TV.. about 2-3 feet or 0.9144 or less meters. ha..
thanks for this guys..
Would buying a 27inch monitor solve anything??
I have the option to buy a AOC 27inch 2770s or 2752s monitor as well..
- instead of a new Samsung 32 inch TV which apparently I shouldn't be close too..
Also on the lighting, I definitely can change the light bulbs to brighter lights.. I need to do that..
I just looked and its three 60 watt bulbs!! aah!
what should I get 75watt? 100watt?
I should look into those glasses too..
thanks guys..

If it is too dark even with those existing lamps, then yeah, you would have to get the ones that are more powerful. The placement of the lamps also matters by the way.
Like Brian mentioned, Gunnar eyewear can help but if the problem persists, consult a doctor
