On using system image backup in Win10.
#1
I was watching the video:

I have a couple of questions.

1. Does the external backup drive need to be formatted in order to backup the image to it? I have a spare external drive that as some files and directories on. Can I use that drive, and it'll just add an image folder to it?

2. On the video I wasn't sure if the image totally backs up everything. If I had text files or images etc, will they also be backed up in the image?

Thanks for any help guys.

The external drive will not be formatted. Windows will create its own folder in the drive with the system image.

The answer to your second question is yes, it will back up your files and photos, however, if you add new photos or files AFTER the system image has been created, those files/photos will not be backed up until you create the next image backup.
Remember! You should exercise complete CTRL and you ALT to think carefully before you DELete stuff willy nilly.
