Old man is Upgrading
#1
I have a 7 year old Alienware Area-51 I am going to upgrade.I am 60 years old and a gamer on disability.Current system:

Asus P5N-D
Q9650
SB Audigy FX
EVGA GTX 760 SC
8GB GSkill DDR2 Black
Seagate 500 GB Barracuda
Win 7 64(fresh install full version 2 years ago April)
Asetek 510LC cooling(AW 750W PS)

New upgrades(keeping case because of funds):
ASUS H170 Pro Gaming
Skylake 6600 i5(No K)
GSkill16GB(2x8)DDR4
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
Rosewill 2.5 inch SSD adapter w\Fan

I am writing this in hopes that the video I just watched means I can use my old HD to boot first time and then clone(using Samsungs software) and get it to work. Please someone tell an old man some good news on my chances.I am hoping that the bios architecture for ASUS boards will save the day after uninstalling all the drivers.I REALLY don't want to lose all my Steam info and Origin,Battlenet, etc, etc, etc, and have to reload it all.It will cost me 100 bucks I don't have to have OS installed by the shop.I have an Upgrade from Windows Vista to 7 disk instead of full version.Natch.....Thx for the great site and help.
