Chrome - Doesn't want save password
#1
I have tried clear browser cache, history and everything, still won't work
Latest Windows updates installed, scanned with malwarebytes, no threats found, latest version google chrome installed and windows defender protection is on.
I am getting little frustrated and don't want to reset the PC again
I am using Windows 8.1 with spring update
Please note: I hide google my account with task manager

Personally I use a password manager to remember my passwords, it's a lot safer and easier.

Lastpass
Roboform
1Password

But anyway, try this to see if it helps:

Open up a different browser like Firefox or IE and set it to default browser then close it. Now open chrome and IGNORE the message about it being your default browser and try to go to a website and save a password. Then test it. If it works, close chrome and reopen it and this time say YES to make it your default browser.
Remember! You should exercise complete CTRL and you ALT to think carefully before you DELete stuff willy nilly.
