Clone Problem Solved
#1
Hi Guys,

I have discovered by accident why I keep getting error massages when Cloning my OS HDD. On my computer I have two Hard drives...one is 500GB which has the OS and the other is 1TB that has files etc.

I disconnected the 1TB HDD and cloned my OS HDD...took it out then put in the Clone and it booted perfectly. I then Cloned my OS HDD to another 500GB HDD with the same result.

After booting to the Clone I turn off the computer and reconnect my 1TG HDD...restart and everything is fine...so I think that's what the problem was. I remember years ago I tried to install Windows XP (my first attempt) on my computer with three Hard Drives...two had files on them and the other was new...got a massage saying something like "windows can't find the Drive" or something like that...took me awhile to find out I had to disconnect the other drives first...live and learn.
