Dell Latitude D600, mouse moves when typing

I have a Dell Latitude D600 but when I type in the keyboard the mouse goes crazy and I tried uninstalling the mouse and putting it back in but it doesn't work
It runs Win Vista 32bit

Mouse/Trackpad problem with this model was quite a common issue. I'd do a few Google searches for it.
