Realtek PCIe GBE family controller Wifi Problem

what is your system model number and manufacturer ?
cable connection is better over WiFi because with cable you are getting it directly with WiFi the connection have to travel over the air which can get interference
Do you have WiFi capability on that machine? ie WiFi Card, WiFi USB dongle. If you have none of these, you won't be able to connect to WiFi with that machine. Now if it is a Laptop, it should have WiFi card already built in, which means you can connect via WiFi.
You're screen shots tell me you have no WiFi Enabled and You have no WiFi Driver install, which leads me to find you have not WiFi Card or WiFi USB dongle. Realtek Wireless Drivers

Perhaps there is a toggle switch that is in the off position for your wifi? That or there are certain keys to press to enable wifi. Make and model of your machine would be great.
