I was just wondering are there any laptop bits like RAM, hard drive, or processor that you could put inside of a desktop?

no laptop, bits or parts are build for laptop
thinking of probably only the hard drive

I've installed laptop drives in a desktop just to see if it would work, and had no problems.

There are quite a few components that will fit, USB ports for example of course some soldering is required.
