Hard drive Making Buzzing noise
#1
My hard drive has been making noises similar to https://clyp.it/1mpwxk5j it's like a low pitched buzzing noise like in that audio clip, I'm just wondering if my drive is dying or not
The info for the drive "including the smart status" is here https://termbin.com/dhge
It doesn't make the sound in windows. but in linux it does make it
Thanks -Chris

Edit: I unplugged my laptop and it started making this noise https://vocaroo.com/i/s0tjwbUkrTtx

Everything looks good did you run any test using hiren boot CD.?
What is the current temperature of the computer?

Did you clean any fans in the computer before?

Actually it doesn't look good. On the bottom of the log it said
"SMART Self-test log structure revision number 1
Num Test_Description Status Remaining LifeTime(hours) LBA_of_first_error
# 1 Extended offline Completed: read failure 40% 1783 623199216 "
I ran that thru parted magic which you can tell by the kernel "i686-linux-3.5.6-pmagic"
The fans are clean on this laptop and the temperatures run at about 49C
