I know a lot of people use ccleaner. But how many use the built in registry cleaner. If you don't why? and if you do how long have you been using it and are you experiencing any unknown issues. I'm trying to get as much impute as possible. THANK YOU AHEAD OF TIME. Big Grin

I only use the registry cleaner when I uninstall a program

Ditto with Compton. I only use the registry cleaning component if I'm uninstalling software. I then run a scan and delete references to that software only. Takes a while to sift through the entries but safer than deleting all.

if you are going to use the registry cleaner you should always backup your registry
just for safety

I stopped using ccleaner when its paid version came out.

CCleaner has always been free

i only use CCleaner free and i use the reg clean funktion when i uninstall software so there is no left overs
