All shortcuts on my desktop only work with a right click and open. I can open items on the task bar by left clicking on and desktop icons by right clicking and choosing open. I have ran Malware Bytes and Norton and found no problems.

If I slow the click speed to its slowest setting all is well now. A couple of months ago it worked at full speed and now it requires a much slower setting???

Run this scan SFC.EXE /SCANNOW as administrator If this doesn't help check for a new driver
