windows 10 facebook app pc

got a problem with facebook app on my windows 10 pc, it crash when i open it before i reach login screen with no error at all
this is how it looks like

it was working fine before the latest facebook update from windwos store

It seems like a known issue to me.. many users have reported the problem

It could either be a bug in the source code of the Facebook app or it could be a limitation of Windows 10 that's causing the issue, either of which could be fixed with an update

One user named Andrea Pezzani has provided a way to work around the issue on the Facebook forum
