Result of Antivirus bootable tool comparison?
#1
Hi,

I just found your comparison video of a few antivirus bootable disks. I'm wondering if you completed the work and reached a conclusion on which was the best tool.

I'm a pretty data-driven guy so I was impressed that you were actually doing a real comparison and getting the metrics on how they each did. I get annoyed with answers like, "Well I like X". That's not at all informative and suggests the speaker really has no idea which may be better.

Thanks!

Everyone has the favorite tools, if I am going to use a Antivirus live cd, I tend to start with Kaspersky Rescue CD or Eset. Its no good me saying which one is best, because someone will always believe and say another one is better.

Well, from my perspective that was the purpose of actually conducting a test as you did in that video. It no longer remains a matter of opinion. We have actual data as to which one did a better job. [I used to be a research scientist]

Thanks for your work, and I donated about an hour ago.

antivirus/Rescue CD are like human being not perfect

all antivirus/Rescue CD have good/bad things about them

all we could do is to learn to work with them & keep on
