I think what you are looking for might be this...
https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/41136-uac-change-prompt-behavior-administrators-windows.html

"Prompt for credentials on the secure desktop: When an operation requires elevation of privilege, the user is prompted on the secure desktop to enter a privileged (administrator) user name and password. If the user enters valid credentials, the operation continues with the user's highest available privilege."

Hi Gary Welcome to the forum.

Also try Run SFC /Scannow

How-to below:

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

First of all thank you for the warm welcome.
I'll try all your suggestions when I got home. The article is worth reading.

Hi guys,
Just an update, I have tried both suggestions however it didn't solved my issue.
I ran first system file checker (sfc /scannow) and it seems i don't have any missing or corrupted system files.
After that I tried  jmitservices suggestion and modify the UAC setting.
And now everytime I run a program as Administrator on the standard account I got an error "File system error -1073741819"

I also checked the Event Viewer and i found out that there are errors.

It may not sound very technical but can't you simply restore back to a time before the problem existed?

I was able to fix my issue, it was actually my fault I mess up the registry last few weeks just to disable the automatic login.
I modify the permission of
Quote:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\UserSwitch
which did the trick on disabling the auto login however I didn't notice that it has a side effect which results to malfunction the UAC. What I did was I restore the permission of the registry and follow other procedure to disable the auto login.
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/138177-disable-automatic-log-in-to-last-user-on-windows-81/
Now, everything is fine and no more errors in event viewer.

Sorry guys for my stupidity..
