block users from installing software on your computer
#1
as a IT Tech I deal with infected computers everyday in offices where employees download malicious software so there is a lot of approaches I can take to solve this problem the first thing you should have a good antivirus but even the best antivirus won't stop one hundred percent installation of viruses especially if you have a office with a lot of employees and they always install free programs so the best solution is to block installation in the first place if you have Windows Professional you can restrict the windows installer from group policy so there's no way to install software if you have Windows Home version you can restrict the windows installer from the registry if the above-mentioned solution is too technical for you you can use a free program called install guard it blocks users from installing software it is 100% free it has protection from user uninstalling it this free program will only protect you from programs downloaded from the internet not from USB flash drive it has a nice user interface with a lot of functionality note this free program will only protect you from programs that need to be installed not portable software Britec I think you should do a video about this important subject thank you so much for your useful videos

You can download the software from this link https://www.completelock.com/
