Whats the difference between buying a dell os disk and buying a microsoft os disk?

Dell with have all the dell drivers and other crap bundled with it

If you buy from Microsoft they will replace it if its corrupt. Go with Microsoft man.

For the longest time ive been trying to get the ahci driver for my xp, ive tried integrating the drivers,pressing f6 etc and nothing but i found this dell xp os disk and no problems and all is well but i kinda see what you mean by bundled with crap though. Thank you britec and double clutch we can close this thread Smile
