Have you ever got online started searching only to find yourself with a page full of choices not knowing the one to choose because they all look like what you are looking up? In the world full of technology micromanaging parts of life can make things easier like adding specific search engines to your browser. There are hundreds of search engines to choose. Legal, food, all-purpose, accounting, Bit-Torrent, Blogs, Books, Business, e-mail, forum, enterprise, Games, Human search, International, Jobs, Maps, Medical the list goes on. It's all accessible with the browser of your choice. I will be using the Edge Browser as an example.

OpenSearch Technology is what Microsoft Edge has built into it so you can choose the Search Engine that best fits your needs as long as the Search Engine you are trying to add has OpenSearch Technology. What this does is when you open a search engine's website the Edge Browser will discover that search engine and add it to the list of Search Engines allowing you to have a variety to choose from, this is handy when researching a particular topic. Pick a Search Engine and go to its Web Site(Example www. DuckDuckGo.com)  click More Actions(it's the three dots at the top right of the browser) Scroll down click Settings and then scroll down and select View Advanced Settings. Scroll down and click Change Search Engine. Highlight the Search Engine you want to use and Click Set As Default. You're ready to use your new Search Engine.
