I can't get dheapmon to work on windows 10 64bit

Ive been able to follow the steps given in the following link (https://blog.airesoft.co.uk/2009/10/desktop-heap-monitor-vista-7/) and had no issues but when i try using the same method on windows 10 64bit i get a win32.sys error so is there another method i can use or different software?

Hi smirk24,
Microsoft isn't going to release another update for Desktop Heaps Monitor, so it isn't compatible with windows 10. I have been looking on the internet for an alternative, but I can't seem to find one.
The only thing I can think of is Process Monitor. Here is the download link: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/processmonitor.aspx

Oh okay thank you REC560. Using process monitor how can i use it to figure out the desktop heap? Ive used process monitor before but i couldn't figure out how to use it to find how much desktop heap is being used.

I apologise smirk24 for deceiving you, process monitor doesn't have desktop heap, from the research I have been doing, it seems there isn't an alternative to Desktop Heap, yet again I could be wrong, but it is likely there isn't an alternative

We can close the thread these settings are pretty good for it makes the system more snapier and also makes the system more responsive
