When using the suspend process option in resource monitor

Question 
When using suspend process does the process suspended stay as is until i turn it back on? Or does it unsuspend if you restart or shut down the computer?

Yes it stays suspended until it is unsuspended

I have found some malware can re-enable itself.

No, its still some good info to pass along though. I was just curious about because of the high disk usage when you hit the desktop i mean i understand that it takes some time for all the processes and what night but it seems like it takes awhile for the disk usage to go back down is all.
