Sorry double clutch if you think I am keeping secrets from you I am not, I just want to know why Timster said: "I would not trust the drive".
Just a couple of things:
Why did you say crystal disk info warning? What is the warning?
Go back to the system and take a screenshot and post it in your next reply:

I promise you I am not keeping any secret, I just don't understand!

I wouldn't say it's failing just based on that assessment. It would be wise to run a chkdsk /r on the drive and then run the tests.

The check disk can repair the soft bad sectors

LoL REC560, No If you have an idea, and it doesn't involve replacing the drive I would really like to hear it. You are good at what you do and I trust your opinion.

Well, okay but you don't have to throw the existing one. It could still work even with a few physical bad sectors

you could pair it with one of those hard drive enclosures and use it as a portable external drive.. Just sayin

Okay. You are welcome.

if you tested hard drive with Crystaldisk and its saying " Caution" you also tested the hard drive with sea gate tools its saying the test failed which meaning the hard drive is failing I would replace that hard drive .

I would not use the hard drive as a external storage I would dump the hard drive it would  be useless using a hard drive as storage because its failing  I would not trust the drive.what timster means is that the hard drive can fail anytime
