CPU is running at 3.7Mhz

I just opened my AI Suite and noticed that the CPU is running at 3.7Mhz average all the time.Whenever I have checked it before it varies from 700-2100 or so unless I am running a game or something.I did this because I noticed my CPU fan running at 1900 or so and it never runs higher than 1000.

I reset the Fan Xpert to Turbo(my normal setting)and the RPM dropped back to normal. (900-1000)

I do not have any garbageware or other background crap running.Except for a few games and a new case the machine is identical to when I built it in Feb of this year.

Now the CPU temps run from 24-31 degrees instead of 22-27 at idle.Any Ideas?

I forgot to mention i5 6600, Win7 64

Nevermind.....I found the fix.I updated my BIOS from 8\15 to current in one Flash.Everything works normally now.Feel free to close thread
