How do I uninstall mcafee from the system?
#1
Hi guys,

I'm asking for a friend. She's managed to get mcafee installed on her windows 10 computer. She already has avast and malwarebytes so she wants to remove mcafee. She says she doesn't know how it keeps getting on her system. I'm thinking its probably been re-installed when updating some programs. I've noticed the adobe flash installer auto ticks mcafee installation.

Anyways, I'm wondering if mcafee have a special uninstall program that will wipe all remains from her system? I'm assuming she'll have to go to the programs section of Win10, then click uninstall there. But does mcafee have a program that removes any remains? I'm asking because I know Avast does. On Avast I had to uninstall it, then run a special program in windows safe mode. Then I was able to make a clean re-install back on. So I'm wondering if mcafee has something similar?

Thanks for any info.

Hi BowdonUK, Thanks for contacting the forum!
Download AV Uninstall Tools Pack from this link: https://uninst.ru/download/193-av-uninstall-tools-pack.
This has the special uninstall program to remove McAfee.
Hope this helps
