This is my No1 hate and hassle over the past few years.
Yes, I get criticised by my friends but I like to have 25 tabs open (not all loading/intermittently loading) using Tab Plus ( the only add-on I ever use) on the latest Firefox browser.
I do not have flashplayer installed. I do not want to use Chrome as I do not want to sign into a cached identifiable web browser.
The problem I have even on a brand new OS Windows 10 install with a imported bookmarks is the pages intermittently buffer, freeze and I can not go from tab to tab.
Is there a solution.
I have regularly noticed with new Windows 10 installs that a security update by Adobe flash occurs in the Windows Update on a local account OS. This would give the Microsoft boys a $300 million fine for Anti-trust by the EU. Here, In Australia the Government treat us like insects, we're peasants. The Privacy Commissioner does not care.
NOTE: I have just searched my Processes and Adobe Flash Player 23.0 r0 is installed....this has not been done by me. I reckon this is illegal.
Shockwave flash plug-in is installed. Primetime Content Decryption Module provided by Adobe - Plugin is installed. I know previously I have de-activated these plugins and uninstalled Flash and still get major freezing. In the task manager the Adobe updater always shows after the relevant uninstalls/de-activations.
In this world where now You tube uses HTML5 what is the solution please. This is my No 1 hassle with Computers.
No wonder Steve Jobs hated Adobe.
By memory, if I now Uninstall adobe flash, a fire-fox plug-in for adobe will still cause the same buffering/freezing on fire-fox.
Adobe reader is not installed. But I will need to install it at a later date or try Fox-it PDF or something else free.
Can you please help?
