Sardu Made Rescue etc not showing on New Laptop
#1
Hi Bri, I made this awesome Sardu (old version) made software package from a lot of your videos and your two original Sardu You tube videos. I had previously made a few on 16GB Thumbdrives.

SO on my Toshiba Satelitte P50 - A0EE the USB just wont boot into the GUI. Tryed everything, Bios Grub sequence etc, and the laptop is only 4 months old but with a 7 series Video card, so its older. Had a few problems with the USB on the laptop. Put TDK 16GB with Sardu on 7 yr old Toshiba Qosmio dual core and BINGO Sardu USB works fine.

Any ideas as its taken hours and hours. Is this the DRM thats on CPU's on my Win 8.1 Toshiba P50-A0ee thats causing this.

Love the videos, Australia says Hello!

PS on the Sardu software package I made I did have win 8, 7 and XP Console so I am thinking its the DRM on the Laptops CPU

Hi Tie,

I've never used SARDU but if its a Win 8 laptop using UEFI you may have to go into the BIOS and disable Safe Boot.

Hi Tie, Welcome to the forum mate

https://www.easy2boot.com/

A guy called Steve has made a real easy way to do a multiboot and he has some videos on the subject.
Another good option is Zalman you can get them on ebay

Timster has a video on them as well.

Hope this helps you out.

Ok I have deleted all the comedy, lets keep that for the  humor board.

You mentioned that you disabled the UEFI did you simply turn off secure boot? Did you make any other changes?

I will say with my experience with the Zalman is hit or miss when trying to boot to the _iso. For some reason certain hardware just does not like to boot to it. ORDER THE ZALMAN AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Has anyone tried the VE-400?

I've heard that the VE-400 has a clunky interface. I believe the 300 is the way to go IMO.
