Also, when he does it on a VM, the only real thing that is different, is that he can make the HDD and the memory of a VM appropriate sizes for the type of install that he wants to make. You just have to be able to get the proper drivers for the install and know whether it is a X64 or a X86 version, and there are a LOT of different versions of Linux to choose from so I would think each one is a little different, so he would be doing a general video for a vanilla-install of Linux.
