Send Google Maps Directions from a PC to your Phone
#1
Here is a cool feature that Google has added to its Google Maps, it allows you to send map directions form your computer to your mobile phone device. example: You start from home and want to travel to Gatwick Airport. Google maps can now send its directions to your phone, this is very handy while travelling.

Send A Place
  • On your computer, navigate to Google Maps.
  • Sign in to your Google Account
  • Choose a place you want to send.
  • Click Send to your phone. Then, choose an option:
  • Choose Email or Text you want to send.

Add your car or GPS device:

  • Go to google.com/maps/sendtocar.
  • Look at the top right of your browser and click Sign in, now enter your account information.
  • Once signed in click Add car or GPS device.
  • Now you need to select your car manufacturer and type in your account ID.
  • Optional: To make it easier in the future, just add a name for your car.
  • Click OK.

Yeah this is a nice feature. If I remember right Microsoft did this in Windows 10 Maps. I think I remember testing it.
