Firefox using a lot of memory

Hi everybody,

Lately Firefox has been using a lot of memory up. I look at it in Task Manager. It's also becoming sluggish at times and when I close it a few minutes later it will come up saying Firefox has crashed and so I restore last last session.

It just crashed again. It was running at 1,037mb. Any one else having problems like this or know any fixes?

Firefox for the past few years have become bloated probably more bloated now

have not use it in a few years

If you can find out what add ons and extensions are added to your firefox browser and which ones you can remove might help the memory issue and theres also a piece of software called diskmax which has a part where it optimizes firefox https://www.koshyjohn.com/software/diskmax/
